Chernivetskyi Promin report on the B50 photo exhibition

A traveling media project about unbreakable volunteers was presented in Chernivtsi

“Stronger than bricks” is a photo exhibition about the concerned Kyiv residents who, in the first days after the liberation of their cities from the invaders, rushed to dismantle the rubble of the de-occupied territories. Antonina Figel found out how passers-by react to the photos from Irpin, Bucha, Hostomel and Vorzel.

While some people just pass by without noticing the photos, others stop to look into the eyes of the unbreakable Ukrainians. This is where the photo exhibition “Stronger than bricks” was placed on the fence of the square near the Popivskyi House.

The photographs depict the volunteers of B50 who were one of the first teams to join the cleanup of the newly liberated Irpin, Bucha, Hostomel, and Vorzel. They cleaned up houses destroyed by shells, eliminated the consequences of armed aggression, and preserved damaged homes. Passersby say the photos inspire them and give them faith in the future.
