is a traveling media project about ordinary Ukrainians who are lawyers, designers, accountants, and managers for five days a week, trying to live ordinary and fulfilling lives in a world where ballistic missile attacks have become a strange norm, and on weekends they turn into superheroes volunteers.

The photos show volunteers on their days off “putting on their superhero costumes” – gloves, masks, and construction helmets – to help residents of villages around Kyiv, some of which were almost completely destroyed by russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

The purpose of the exhibition is to demonstrate the will of the Ukrainian people to help each other in difficult times of war and to thank the members of our community for their resilience and unbreakable spirit, who even under constant rocket attacks do not leave the path of volunteering.

With this exhibition, we aim to lead by example and popularize the volunteer movement in Ukraine and abroad.
We also want to show the scale and devastating consequences of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine that we are dealing with.

Schedule of the “Chronicles of the Unknown Superheroes Ukrainians” photo exhibition

Our photo exhibition is a chronicle of volunteering, a day in the life of the B50 community. The photo story consists of a series of posters that sequentially reveal the story of one day of these superheroes Ukrainians.
