Look for “Chronicles of the Unknown Ukrainians” in Alytus (Lithuania)!

Our first (and hopefully not the last))) international photo exhibition visited Lithuania together with its heroes – the incredible B50 volunteers!

Chronicles of the Unknown Superheroes Ukrainians is a traveling media project about ordinary Ukrainians who try to live ordinary, full lives five days a week in an extraordinary world where ballistic missile attacks have become a strange norm, and on weekends turn into superhero volunteers and help eliminate the consequences of the russian invasion.

The aim of the exhibition is to demonstrate the will of Ukrainians to help each other in difficult times of war and to thank the members of our community for their resilience and unbreakable spirit, who, even under constant rocket fire, do not leave the path of volunteering. Chronicles of the Unknown Superheroes Ukrainians will be exhibited in the town hall of Alytus. It was in this picturesque town that the first Ukrainian registration center in Lithuania was opened. It is from here that humanitarian aid is regularly sent to Ukrainian cities, including Kremenchuk, Alytus’ sister city. It is here that Oksana Kirichenko, one of the B50 Friends who arranged the exhibition, lives.

The official opening of Chronicles of the Unknown Superheroes Ukrainians took place on October 30 with the participation of the local administration, B50 activists and volunteers from Alytus.

The members of B50 presented the activities of the community and told about the exhibited photos, talked a lot with Lithuanians and answered their questions. Also, on behalf of our organization, they presented Lithuanians with official gratitude letters for the humanitarian aid, indifference and support of Ukraine.

We are grateful to our friends from Lithuania, in particular to Oksana Kirichenko and the Municipality of Alytus, for their assistance in organizing the photo exhibition and for supporting the B50 community in this difficult time.

Chronicles of the Unknown Superheroes Ukrainians can be seen from November 1 to 30 at the following address: Alytus City Hall (in the lobby), Rotušės a. 4 , Mon-Thu: 08:00-17:00, FRI: 08:00-15:45.
