“Chronicles of the Unknown Superheroes/Ukrainians” visit Budapest (+video)
The European tour of the international photo exhibition B50 continues. Currently, “Chronicles of the Unknown Superheroes Ukrainians” is on display in Budapest. Here, on Bakáts Square near the Church of St. Francis of Assisi, Hungarians can view the photos of B50 activists and see how tireless Ukrainians are helping each other during the war – repairing the destruction left by the russians and arranging comfortable bomb shelters for children. In this way, Budapest residents and visitors will get to know the recovery volunteering and hopefully join the activities of our community.
The exhibition was visited by На виставку завітала дочка Flóra Horváth‘s daughter, who helped us coordinate everything in Budapest and translated the captions for the exhibition. The girl’s name is Lotte, and she goes to school with the children of Ukrainian refugees and learns Ukrainian. We thank Flora as well as Kitti Ignáth for their help with the organisation and sincerely hope that our exhibition will resonate with Hungarians!
