Our active volunteers Svitlana Rudokvas and Yuliia Horbasenko represented the B50 community photo exhibition at the opening. They were tasked with telling about the exhibition at the launch, giving tours to visitors, giving interviews to local media and representatives of the Memorial, and presenting the work of the B50 community. It was an interesting and exciting experience for our volunteers. Yuliia and Svitlana shared their experiences and time in Hamburg on our website.

Volunteering and supporting each other keeps us from despairing, from giving up and surrendering.

In their speeches, the B50 representatives thanked the guests for their support and the opportunity to tell the stories of volunteers, shared their personal experience of joining the volunteer movement during the war, and spoke about the projects and activities of the B50. Particular parts of the speech were stories about the reality that Ukrainians are currently facing and how volunteering helps them to fight, not to give up, and provides energy and support.

We also invite you to see and hear the words that are extremely important and that need to be conveyed to those who are outside the reality that Yuliia and Svitlana describe in their speeches.
