Development of B50: call for proposals for a facilitated session

Recently, B50 celebrated its second anniversary, and having already been able to evaluate the community’s path in some retrospect, we see that every year in the spring we start a new cycle and reach the next level of our development. This was the case last year — the result was the transformation of a small community, in fact, a volunteer group, into a stable organizational structure with well-established work and a number of projects.

Being at the beginning of a new development cycle, we have decided to change certain aspects of our activities, including efficiency, fundraising, and the scale of projects. To do this, we are looking for and finding opportunities to attract additional expertise, including an audit of our activities and mentoring support to improve them. In particular, we paid attention to the program “Ukraine Civil Society Sectoral Support Activity” implemented by ISAR Ednannia in partnership with the Ukrainian Center of Independent Political Research (UCIPR) and Centre for Democracy and Rule of Law (CEDEM) by the generous support of the American people through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)

We applied for participation and were selected. The next step will be to hold a tender to find a service provider to conduct a session to develop a strategic plan for 2024-2026 and an operational plan for the current year, as well as consultations on improving certain aspects of B50’s work.

Therefore, we are announcing an open tender for the provision of a facilitated session and invite specialists to submit their proposals by May 21, 2024. You can find the terms of the tender below or on the Organization Development Marketplace page.

Information	The organization was founded in the spring of 2022 as a response to the challenges of modern times. Over the past two years, we have implemented and continue to implement various projects aimed at restoring communities affected by russia’s invasion of Ukraine and, at the same time, providing them with development tools beyond the level they had before the invasion. While some of our projects are coming to the end of their life cycle, we see our medium-term priority as focusing on implementing projects related to children and education. In this area, we have several different but related projects, namely – repairing and decorating bomb shelters in educational institutions; – restoration of children’s libraries in the areas affected by the war. Another joint project with our British partners in the education sector (establishing partnerships between Ukrainian and British schools) is at the initial stage of implementation. A separate area of our work is supporting our own volunteer community and implementing media projects to promote volunteering.

Tender description	The B50 announces a tender for the selection of a provider to develop the organization’s strategic plan for 2024-2026 and the operational plan for the current year, including further refinement, final editing of the strategic and operational plans, support and implementation in the organization’s activities. We expect the following results from the candidates: – update the key goals, objectives and activities of the organization for the period 2024-2026. – develope a strategic plan for 2024-2026 with SMART indicators (including communication, marketing, and fundraising components). – work for 2024-2026 was planned with the setting of tasks and identification of indicators for their achievement.
Requirements for providers	1. Experience in organizational development, strategic planning, development of operational plans, fundraising. 2. Have positive experience in facilitating the development of similar organizational documents (feedback will be an advantage). 5. Please note that the payment of value added tax (VAT) is not allowed under the grant. If the cost of the provider’s service includes VAT, the amount of VAT cannot be paid with grant funds.
