Leaving the past in Donetsk to build a new life among "his own people". Andrii Mitin, an active volunteer with B50, has already faced combat twice. In 2014, they forced him to leave his hometown and go into the unknown. And in 2022, they gave him the impetus to start volunteering regularly. As part of the B50 community, Andrii helped residents of Borodianka, Moshchun, Makariv, Horenka, Irpin... Although he is a white-collar worker by lifestyle. However, it turned out that the volunteer can repair a fence, quickly climb on the roof, install a window, and drive a wheelbarrow with bricks.

December: Closing the season (or not?)

In December, B50 volunteers from Reconstruction direction continued to go to Moshchun for the traditional clearing of the debris. Unfortunately, the weather made its own adjustments, and there were fewer trips, working days became shorter, but the desire to help…

November 2022: old and new projects

Despite the cold almost winter weather, blackouts and communication problems, “B50 Reconstruction” volunteers never stopped going to Moshchun, where they traditionally cleared the rubble, restored damaged roofs, gained new experience in dismantling a frame house, brought furniture from caring people…

October 2022: a month of cool events

October was very busy and very interesting for the B50 community. Despite the autumn (often rainy and cold) weather, volunteers from the “B50 Reconstruction” direction continued to work in Moshchun: In total, during the month, 229 B50 activists made 13…
